Ambiguous poses were used to create new abstract forms and shapes, whilst intending to retain a sense of fluidity and beauty. Unknown
This series uses the human form to create abstract black & white photographs, focusing on the curves of the figure. The water droplets are to enhance the lines and shadows formed by the physique, whilst producing reflections that obstruct the skins texture; creating a nonfigurative series. Argent Dreams
This series is a reaction to the "Untitled" series. Here, we similarly use a full covering of silver of body paint but intend to produce a fantastical and surreal feel through this change of skin colour. The use of wings in the images is to enhance this sense of fantasy. These images are intended to be interpreted by the viewer, rather than symbolising a notion. Photography, posing, direction, lighting, hair and make-up, styling & retouching by Hannah Simpson

Cirque de Freak
This series was a collaboration with the make-up artist Hannah Wing. Our inspiration was the circus and we aimed to create images that were twisted and eerie. Photography, posing, co-direction, lighting, & retouching by Hannah Simpson

Fallen
This series was inspired by the play Dr Fausters. It plays with the ideas of angels being forgotten when people stop believing in them. We used two different scenarios with contrasting ideas; the angel in waiting for belief to be revived, and the angel who has given up waiting and turned to sin. The chains in the images symbolise the ties to belief and good doing, the clock denotes patience and the skulls signifies sin and the death of belief. This was a collaboration with the make-up artist Hannah Wing. Photography, posing, co-direction, lighting & retouching by Hannah Simpson

Halting Autumn
This series of images aims to explore the changing of seasons and freeze them in time. The hand made head pieces feature leaves and flowers that are about to change colour. We coupled these head pieces with a young woman to reflect the constant change in your body as you grow older. Photography, direction, posing, head piece design and creation, make-up & retouching by Hannah Simpson

Constricted
This set was created using an old roll of printer ink suspended through out the studio, with pieces being cut and placed on the model's face. The intertwining of roll is to suggest notions of the social expectations that constrict ballet dancers to a conservative manner. This was a collaboration with the Ballet dancer Haras, who has recently created a dance group called The Lesbian Ballet Mafia, where dancers are free to express themselves with out any social constraints. Photography, posing, direction, lighting, set design, styling & retouching by Hannah Simpson
